appoint the following gentlemen to be Receivers
of Gold Revenue on the Nelson South-west Gold
Fields for the Districts set opposite their names
respectively :-

EDWARD HARNOTT BULLEN, Ahaura;
ERNEST CHARLES KELLING, Charleston.

CHARLES SAWYER, late a Constable in No. 1
Mounted Division of the Armed Constabulary,
deceased.

Under the provisions of "The Public Payments
without Probate Act, 1869," and the Regulations
made thereunder, published in the New Zealand
Gazette of 1870, page 212, the Colonial Treasurer
intends to make a payment of money due to the
above-named deceased, to a person not being his legal
representative. All persons objecting to such pay-
ment being made must give notice to the Colonial
Treasurer, at Wellington, within one calendar

month from the date of the Gazette containing this
notice, when their objections will be considered.

POST OFFICE MONEY ORDERS.

WITH reference to Treasury notice of the 10th
December, 1862, published in Government Gazette
No. 231, it is hereby notified, that, on and after the
1st September, 1870, the Post Office Money Order
System will be extended to the following places,
viz.:-

Brewarrina,
Euston,
Jacqua,
Jereelderie,

Rocky Mouth,
St. Leonards,
Warren.
DANIEL EGAN.

Confiscated Lands Office,
Wellington, 13th July, 1870.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the block of timbered
land situated at the northern end of the Rail-
way Reserve, Patea District, and lying between the
Ohangi and the Austin roads, is reserved till further
notice for the use of the Settlers occupying the ten-
acre sections at Hawera, who are authorized to cut
such timber thereon as they may require for their
own use.

NOTICE.

BY agreement dated Wellington, 3rd September,
1870, the Partnership hitherto existing between
Thomas Henderson, of Auckland, and John Martin,
of Wellington, as Steamboat Proprietors, has been
dissolved by mutual consent--Mr. Thomas Henderson
paying all liabilities contracted to the above date.
