THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

I, DAVID LEWIS, a Commissioner duly appointed by virtue of the Ordinance, No. 15, Session XI.,
of the Legislative Council of the Islands of New Zealand, to hear and decide Claims to Land by
persons claiming Title thereto, from, through, or under the New Zealand Company, report that the Claims
of the under-mentioned persons having been duly referred to me for investigation, I do hereby decide
that the said persons are respectively entitled to Crown Grants of the land set against their names in
the annexed Schedule.

1495 1256 Cornelius Campion Entitled to a Grant of 300 acres of Land in the Rangitikei
1452 } District, being the land formerly reported in favour of
Andrew Green (Report 284), and to a further Grant of
300 acres of Land in the same District, formerly reported
in favour of Major Murray (Report 167). The legal
estate to be ante-vested in the former as from the 1st
February, 1854, and in the latter as from the 31st May,
1853.
1496 1641 } Robert Few Entitled to a Grant of Sections No. 368 and 460, on the Plan of
1705 the City of Wellington. The legal estate to be ante-vested
in the Grantee as from the 28th July, 1840.
1497 1063 } Henry William Rotermund Entitled to a Grant of Section No. 127, and part of Section
1576 No. 102, on the Plan of the City of Wellington. The legal
estate to be ante-vested in the Grantee, namely, in the
former as from the 24th August, 1854, and in the latter
as from the 30th April, 1858.
1498 1331 } Trustees of George Rees, Entitled to a Grant of Sections Nos. 339, 468, 469, and 470,
1342 deceased on the Plan of the Township of Wanganui. The Grant to
issue in the name of George Rees, and the legal estate
to be ante-vested therein as from the 24th of April, 1858.
1499 1550 Thomas Flannary... Entitled to a Grant of the Sections No. 442 and 443, on
the Plan of the Township of Wanganui. The legal estate
to be ante-vested in the Grantee as from the 15th March,
1859.
1500 1712 John McBeth Entitled to a Grant of Section No. 950, on the Plan of the
City of Wellington. The legal estate to be ante-vested in
the Grantee as from the 31st December, 1851.
1501 1713 George Young Entitled to a Grant of a portion of Section No. 488, on
the Plan of the City of Wellington, being the upper
part of the Allotment No. 4 on the subdivisional plan of
the Section, having a frontage to Wellington Terrace.
The legal estate to be ante-vested in the Grantee as from
the 10th day of December, 1842.

I, DAVID LEWIS, a Commissioner duly appointed by virtue of an Act of the General Assembly of New
Zealand, intituled "The Lost Land Order Act, 1861," to hear and decide claims for Crown Grants
of Lands for which the original Land Orders or other documents relating thereto have been lost or
destroyed, report that the claims of John McBeth, of Rangitikei, and George Young, late of Wellington,
having been referred to me by command of the Governor, I do hereby decide that the aforesaid Claimants
are entitled to Crown Grants of the Land referred to in the annexed Schedule.

Dated at Wellington, this 22nd day of March, 1870.
