repeal Rule 92 of the rules and regulations contained
in the Proclamation above specified, and do declare
that the following rule shall be substituted therefor
(that is to say):—

SCHEDULE.
TOWN LAND.

92. Steamers must proceed at moderate speed
    whilst navigating amongst the shipping in any
    port; and steamers navigating the River Yarra,
    when passing upwards, must slow their engines
    to less than half-speed when abreast of the
    Melbourne town boundary-post, and as soon as
    they arrive amongst the shipping must reduce
    their speed to not more than three nautical miles
    an hour.

Steamers proceeding down the river from the
Melbourne wharfs must not proceed at a greater
speed than three nautical miles an hour until
below the wharfs and clear of the shipping, and
thence to the town boundary posts must keep
their engines at less than half-speed.

Given under my hand and the Seal of the
Colony, at Melbourne, this fourteenth
day of February, in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and seventy,
and in the thirty-third year of Her
Majesty's reign.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.---Under and in pursu-
ance of the powers vested in me as Commissioner
appointed by His Excellency the Governor to carry
out the Regulations for the Sale of Lands taken
for settlement under "The New Zealand Settlements
Act, 1863," in the Province of Auckland, I do hereby
notify that the General Rural Land specified in the
Schedule hereunder written will be open for selection
and sale, in accordance with the said Regulations, at
the Waikato Lands Office, Auckland, at noon on
Thursday, the 21st day of April, 1870.

SIR,-I, WILLIAM KERR NESBITT, residing in Auck-
land, do hereby give notice, that, one month after
date, I purpose making application for Registration
under "The Medical Practitioners' Registration Act,
1869," of the following qualifications, viz. :-
Degree of A.B., Trin. Col., Dublin.
Degree of M.B., Trin. Col., Dublin.
License of Royal Col. Surgeons, Ireland.
Diploma of Rotunda Lying-in Hospital, Dublin.
And I hereby forward you the documents required
by the Act.
