TENDERS will be received at this Office until
noon of Thursday, the 24th instant, for furnish-
ing the Offices of the General Government with
Coal, in such quantities as may be required, for the
twelve months commencing the 1st April next. The
rates per ton to be specified for best English Coal,
screened and delivered at the Public Offices in 1 cwt.
bags; for the best Newcastle, N.S.W., Coal, screened
and delivered at the Public Offices in 1 cwt. bags;
and for best New Zealand Coal, screened and
delivered at the Public Offices in 1 cwt. bags.

IN the matter of "The Friendly Societies Act,
1867," notice is hereby given that a transcript of
the Bye-laws of
"The Loyal Dunedin Lodge, Otago District, Man-
chester Unity Independent Order of Odd Fel-
lows,"
duly certified, has been lodged with the Registrar of
Friendly Societies, registered and recorded in his
office under the provisions of "The Friendly Societies
Act, 1867."

REWARDS for the Discovery of Offences against
the Arms Acts. It is hereby notified, that a
Reward of Β£100 will be paid to any one giving such
information as will lead to the conviction of any
person guilty of the capital offence of Supplying Arms
and Ammunition to Rebels, under the thirty-third
section of "The Arms Act Amendment Act, 1869."
A Reward of Β£50 will be paid to any one giving
such information as will lead to the conviction of
any person guilty of a Felony or Misdemeanour
under any of the following sections of "The Arms
Act, 1860," that is to say, sections twenty-six,
twenty-seven, twenty-eight, twenty-nine, thirty,
thirty-six, thirty-eight, or any amendment or alter-
ation thereof.
The above Rewards will be paid only after con-
viction. The Informant's name will not be divulged
without his own consent, except where it is necessary
that he should give evidence in Court.
In the case of Accomplices giving information
leading to conviction, a Free Pardon will be granted
in addition to the Reward.

CUSTOMS. Whereas certain buildings were some
time since appointed as Warehouses for the
reception and security of goods entered to be ware-
housed without payment of duty upon the first entry
thereof: Now, in exercise of the authority in me
for this purpose vested, I, the Commissioner of
Customs, do by this order under my hand revoke and
annul the appointment of such buildings as such
Warehouses as aforesaid, viz. :-
