I the undersigned MARMADUKE CONSTABLE, hereby
make application to register "The Emma
Challis Gold Mining Company, Registered," under
the provisions of "The Mining Companies Limited
Liability Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and sincerely
declare that the following statement is, to the best of
my belief and knowledge, true in every particular,
namely :—
- That the name and style of the Company is
"The Emma Challis Gold Mining Company, Regis-
tered." - That the place of operations is at the Matawai
Creek, Coromandel, in the Province of Auckland,
in the Colony of New Zealand. - That the nominal capital of the Company is fifty
thousand pounds, in fifty thousand shares of one
pound each. - That the amount already paid up is forty thou-
sand pounds. - That the name of the manager is Marmaduke
Constable. - That the office of the Company is at Brown
Street, Graham's Town. - That the names and several residences of the
shareholders, and the number of shares held by each

Thames Gold Field, in the Province of Auckland,
in the Colony of New Zealand. - The nominal capital of the Company is twenty-
one thousand pounds, in eight thousand four hundred
shares of two pounds ten shillings each. - The amount already paid up is sixteen thousand
eight hundred pounds.

make application to register "Clarkson's No.
2 Gold Mining Company, Registered," under the
provisions of "The Mining Companies Limited Lia-
bility Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and sincerely
declare that the following statement is, to the best
of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular,
namely:—
- The name and style of the Company is "Clark-
son's No. 2 Gold Mining Company, Registered." - The place of operations is at Wiseman's Gully,
at the Thames Gold Field, in the Province of Auck-
