I, the undersigned JOHN CUMMINS MORPHETT,
hereby make application to register "The Merry
England Gold Mining Company, Registered," under
the provisions of "The Mining Companies Limited
Liability Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and sincerely
declare that the following statement is, to the best of
my belief and knowledge, true in every particular,
namely:-
- The name and style of the Company is "The
Merry England Gold Mining Company, Registered." - The place of operations is at the Lucky Hit
Spur, Karaka Creek, at the Thames Gold Field, in
the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New
Zealand. - The nominal capital of the Company is £6,000,
in 2,400 shares of £2.10s. each. - The amount paid up is £4,800, being estimated
value of the Mine. - The name of the manager is John Cummins
Morphett. - The office of the Company is in Graham's Town.
- The names and several residences of the share-
holders, and the number of shares held by each at
this date, are as follows:-

the provisions of "The Mining Companies Limited
Liability Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and sincerely
declare that the following statement is, to the best
of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular,
namely:-
- The name and style of the Company is "The True
Briton No. 2 Gold Mining Company, Registered." - The place of operations is at the Karaka Creek,
at the Thames Gold Field, in the Province of
Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand. - The nominal capital of the Company is eight
thousand pounds, in eight thousand shares of one
pound each. - The amount already paid up is four thousand
two hundred pounds. - The name of the manager is John Worth
Pearse. - The office of the Company is at Owen Street,
Graham's Town. - The names and several residences of the share-
