To the Honorable Nathaniel William Levin, a
Member of the Legislative Council; Jonas

Arthur William Follett Halcombe, Esquire:
WHEREAS it is expedient, for divers good causes
and considerations, that a Commission should
forthwith issue for the purposes hereinafter

Now know ye, that, reposing great trust and
confidence in your zeal and ability, I, Sir George
Ferguson Bowen, G.C.M.G., the Governor of New

authorize and appoint you the said

any Act or Ordinance of any of the several Provinces
in New Zealand, and all Coupons belonging thereto,
which have been received in exchange or as payment
for Debentures issued under the authority of "The

I, with the like advice and consent, enjoin you, that
you do, before the twenty-first day of October next,
