the undersigned GEORGE WILLIAM JONES, hereby
make application to register "The Shooting Star
Gold Mining Company, Registered," under the pro-
visions of "The Mining Companies Limited Liability
Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and sincerely declare
that the following statement is, to the best of my
belief and knowledge, true in every particular,
namely:--

1. The name and style of the Company is "The
   Shooting Star Gold Mining Company, Registered."
2. The place of operations is at the Moanatairi
   Creek, Thames Gold Field, in the Province of
   Auckland.
3. The nominal capital of the Company is twenty
   thousand pounds in four thousand shares of five
   pounds each.
4. The amount already paid up is eighteen thou-
   sand pounds.
5. The name of the manager is George William
