the undersigned LIPMAN LEVY, of Wellington,
Merchant, hereby make application to register
"The Break of Day Gold Mining Company, Regis-
tered," under the provisions of "The Mining Com-
panies Limited Liability Act, 1865;" and I do
solemnly and sincerely declare that the following
statement is, to the best of my knowledge and belief,
true in every particular, namely:-
- The name and style of the Company is "The
Break of Day Gold Mining Company, Registered." - The place of intended operations is at Makara,
near Wellington. - The nominal capital of the Company is one
hundred and sixty pounds in sixteen shares of ten
pounds each. - The amount already paid up is sixteen pounds.
- The name in full of the manager is Lipman
Levy. - The office of the Company is at the place of
business of John Plimmer, Lambton Quay, City of
Wellington aforesaid. - The names in full, and several residences of the

- The name and style of the Company is "The
Geordie's Terrace Sluicing Company, Registered." - The place of intended operations is at Geordie's
Terrace, near Point Elizabeth, in the Nelson South-
west Gold Fields. - The nominal capital of the Company is four
hundred pounds, in forty shares of ten pounds each. - The amount already paid up is thirty pounds.
- The name of the manager is James Wylde.
- The office of the Company is in Tainui Street,
