ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this seventh day of January, 1869.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by "The Waste Lands Act, 1858," it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Governor in
Council at any time, and from time to time, to except from sale, and either reserve to Her Majesty
or dispose of in such other manner as for the public interest may seem best, such of the Waste Lands of
the Crown, in any of the Provinces of the Colony, as may be required for the purposes of Military Defence,
or for the construction of Trunk Lines of Road, or as Sites for Public Buildings for the use of the General
Government, or for other purposes of public utility or convenience:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the Colony, in exercise and in pursuance of the power and authority in that behalf vested in him,
doth hereby except from sale and reserve to Her Majesty the several parcels of the Waste Lands of the
Crown particularly specified and described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said
Schedule mentioned, and set opposite the descriptions of the said parcels of land respectively.

| All those allotments or parcels of land situate in |
the Parish of Mangatawhiri, in the County of Eden,
being the allotments of the Town of Havelock, num-
bered as follows on the plan of the said town, viz. :—
Allotments numbered two (2) and five (5) of section
numbered two (2); allotments numbered two (2) and
three (3) of section numbered three (3); allotments
numbered two (2), three (3), eleven (11), thirteen
(13), and fourteen (14) of section numbered four (4);
allotments numbered five (5) and six (6) of section
numbered six (6); allotment numbered four (4) of
section numbered nine (9); and allotments numbered
five (5) and six (6) of section numbered ten (10),
containing by admeasurement ten (10) acres, three
(3) roods, and seven (7) perches, be the same more
or less. | Sites for Public Buildings or
other purposes of the General

| Also all that allotment situate in the county and
parish aforesaid and being the country section num-
bered fifty-four (54) on the map of the said Parish
of Mangatawhiri, containing by admeasurement
twelve (12) acres, be the same more or less. | |
| Also all those other allotments or parcels of land
situate in the parish and county aforesaid and being
the country sections numbered sixty-seven (67) and
sixty-eight (68) on the map of the said Parish of
Mangatawhiri, containing by admeasurement three
hundred and twenty-nine (329) acres, be the same
more or less. | |
| All those allotments or parcels of land situate in
the Parish of Puni, in the County of Eden, being
the allotments of the Town of Cameron, numbered
as follows on the plan of the said town, viz.:—Allot-
ments numbered one (1), two (2), three (3), four (4),
five (5), and six (6) of section numbered two (2),
containing two (2) acres, two (2) roods, and one (1)
perch, be the same more or less; allotments num-
bered five (5), six (6), seven (7), and eight (8) of
section numbered three (3), containing one (1) acre,
and sixteen (16) perches, more or less; and section
numbered eleven (11), containing six (6) acres, one
(1) rood, and one (1) perch, be the same more or
less. | |
| Also all that parcel of land adjoining the said
town, and containing three (3) acres, one (1) rood,
and ten (10) perches, be the same more or less,
bounded towards the North by a public road or
street; towards the East by the Waikato and
Mauku Tramway; towards the South by the north
bank of the Waikato River; and towards the West
by the east bank of the Mauku Stream. | |
| Also all that other parcel of land situate in the
