I, DAVID LEWIS, a Commissioner duly appointed by virtue of the Ordinance No. 15, Session XI., of
the Legislative Council of the Islands of New Zealand, to hear and decide Claims to Land by persons
claiming Title thereto from, through, or under the New Zealand Company, report that the Claims of the
under-mentioned persons having been duly referred to me for investigation, I do hereby decide that the said
persons are respectively entitled to Crown Grants of the land set against their names in the annexed
Schedule.

1459 1654 Edwin Henry Downe, a Minor Entitled to Crown Grants of the Sections No. 949, 951, 1075, and 1076, on the Plan of the City of Wellington. Also to Grants of the Rural Sections No. 361, 362, 363, and 365, in the Block surveyed by the New Zealand Company at Manawatu. Subject, nevertheless, to Clause VI., "Land Orders and Scrip Act, 1858." Also that the said Edwin Henry Downe is entitled to select 300 acres of Rural Land, subject to Clause II. of the above-mentioned Act. The Legal Estate to be vested in the Grantee from and after the 24th day of April, 1850.
