appointed sole trustee of the estate and effects of
the bankrupt; and it is further ordered that all real
and personal estate of the bankrupt which shall vest
in the said George Brodie by virtue of this said
appointment, shall be held by him, his heirs,
executors, and administrators respectively (except
the wearing apparel of the bankrupt which shall be
retained by her) upon and for the following trusts
and purposes, namely:-
- To sell, collect, and get in, such real and
personal estate, and receive the moneys arising
therefrom, and to execute all necessary conveyances
and assurances thereof. - To retain and pay all expenses properly incurred
of and attending such sale, collection, and getting in. - To pay the poundage and fees payable under
the abovementioned Acts. - To pay the costs properly incurred of and
incidental to the petition in these matters and sub-
sequent thereto, and also all costs and expenses in
these matters which have been or shall be ordered by
this Court or by any Judge thereof to be paid out of
the estate of the bankrupt. - To distribute the net residue of the said trust
moneys between and amongst and for the benefit of
all the creditors of the bankrupt who were her
creditors at the time of the presentation of the said
petition, and who shall duly prove their debts by
affidavit sworn and filed within three calendar months
from the date of this order by way of pro rata distri-
bution and administration, subject to existing legal
priorities (if any such there shall be), but so that the
said creditors shall not receive more than twenty
shillings in the pound upon their said respective
debts. - To pay the ultimate surplus, if any, of the said
trust moneys to the bankrupt.

NOTICE is hereby given, that application has
been made by Marmaduke Constable, of
Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, and Colony of
New Zealand, gentleman, Thomas Frazer, of the
same place, captain in the Indian Army, and John
Thomas Wright, and Robert Miller Robertson, both
of the same place, merchants, in accordance with
"The Patents Act, 1860," for the issue to them of
Letters Patent, to be called "Constable's Patent,"
for the exclusive right within the said Colony of New
Zealand to the use of an invention or discovery for
the preparation of Phormium tenax or New Zealand
flax, as well as of the ordinary cultivated flax, and
also of hemp and other similar vegetable fibres for
use in the manufacture of rope, yarn, cloth, paper,
and other articles, by boiling, steeping, or steaming
the same in gas water or ammoniacal liquor, being
the refuse water produced by the dry distillation of
coal for gas purposes, fuller particulars of which can
be obtained from the specification deposited in the
Patent Office at Wellington; and any person who
may wish to prefer any objection to the granting of
such Letters Patent, is hereby required to send the
same within four calendar months from the publica-
tion hereof to John B. Bennett, Esq., Registrar-

General, at Wellington, (being the person appointed
for that purpose under the provisions of the said
Act,) with a statement in writing setting forth the
grounds of such objection, and subscribed with his
proper name and address.

general meeting of the shareholders of the
Coromandel Gold Mining Company (Limited), held
at the Company's Office, Fort, on the 27th July,
the following special resolutions were unanimously
carried, in accordance with "The Joint Stock Com-
panies Act, 1860," viz. :-
"That immediate steps be taken to wind the
Company up voluntarily, in accordance with section
107, clause 2, of 'The Joint Stock Companies Act,
1860.'
"That Capt. Daldy and Messrs. Jervis and Schultz
be appointed liquidators of the Company, in accord-
ance with section 109, clause 3, of 'The Joint Stock
Companies Act, 1860,' and the remuneration for all
personal services required for winding up the Com-
pany not to exceed the sum of fifty pounds."

subsisting between the undersigned
wine and spirit merchants, has been dissolved by
mutual consent, as from the 30th June ultimo. The
business will henceforth be carried on under the
same style or name by the undersigned Frederick
Russell, who will receive all debts owing to the late
firm and discharge all its liabilities.

agents, under the style or firm of "Keeling and Co.,"
has been this day dissolved by mutual consent by
the withdrawal of Mr. Robert Chisenhall Hammer-
ton from the firm; and that all debts due to and by us
as such partners, are to be respectively received and
paid by Mr. Robert North Keeling, by whom the
business will in future be carried on under the name
