THE following Proclamation issued by His Honor
the Superintendent of Marlborough under "The
Diseased Cattle Act," is published for general infor-
mation.

PROCLAMATION

By His Honor WILLIAM HENRY EYES, Esq.,
Superintendent of the Province of Marl-
borough, in the Islands of New Zealand,
&c., &c., &c.

WHEREAS by delegation from His Excellency the
Governor, the power has been given to me as Super-
intendent, to make appointments under "The
Diseased Cattle Act, 1861:"

Now therefore, I, William Henry Eyes, Esq.,
the Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough,
in exercise of the power and authority so vested in
me, do hereby appoint

MR. THOMAS DICKENSON,
of Kai Koura, to be an Inspector of Diseased Cattle
under the said Act, and do declare that this appoint-
ment shall be in force on and from the twenty-fifth
day of March instant.

Given under my hand, and issued under the
Public Seal of the Province of Marl-
borough, at the Superintendent's Office,
Blenheim, in the said Province, this
ninth day of March, in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and
sixty-seven.

THOMAS ALFRED SNEYD KYNNERSLEY, Esq.,
to be Receiver of Land Revenue for the Nelson
South-west Gold Fields. This appointment to bear
date from the 1st March instant.

IT is hereby notified that the Native Title has been
extinguished over the block of land whereof the
boundaries are mentioned or described in the
Schedule hereunto annexed, with the exception of
the reserves specified therein.

SCHEDULE.

PROVINCE OF AUCKLAND, - DISTRICT OF BAY OF
ISLANDS, - RUAPEKAPEKA BLOCK.
Estimated to contain 24,636 acres.

Boundaries - Commencing at a point on the
Kauri Nui River, thence southerly and easterly
by the survey lines to the Waiotiu River, thence
southerly again by that river, thence westerly
following the survey lines by Te Ruapekapeka,
Tirohia, Oremaitewhenua, and Opuawhango, to the
Waiharakeke River, thence up that river to Te Oro,
thence north-westerly by a line to a point called Te
Hautapu, being the southern extremity of the Kawa
Kawa Block, thence north-easterly by the south-
eastern boundary of the Kawa Kawa Block to the
reserves lying between the last-mentioned block and
the Ruapekapeka Block aforesaid, thence by the
eastern boundaries of said reserves to the Kawa
Kawa River, thence by that river and the southern
bank of the Karetu River to the Waitemaringi
Reserve, thence following the boundaries of the last-
mentioned reserve to the northern bank of the last-
mentioned river, thence by that bank and the Kawa
Kawa River again and the eastern boundaries of the
Pomare (Te Whakau) and Pumanawa Reserves to
the south-west angle of GREENWAY's claim, thence by
the southern boundary of that claim to the Kauri.
