THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

hereditaments hereinbefore mentioned upon trust as
therein mentioned, for the benefit of all creditors of
the said Thomas Jackson Bennett; and that the said
deeds were duly executed on the day of the date
thereof by the said Thomas Jackson Bennett, Edward
Owen, and William Whittem, in the presence of
Patrick Alphonsus Buckley, a solicitor of the Supreme
Court of New Zealand, and is now filed in the
Supreme Court of New Zealand at Wellington, and
signed by more than three-fourths in value of the
creditors of the said Thomas Jackson Bennett.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership
hitherto subsisting between John Benjamin Lee
and Charles Ferrers Knyvett, as sheep farmers and
stock owners, under the style or firm of "Knyvett and
Lee," has this day been dissolved by mutual consent.
All debts or claims due to or from the said late
copartnership must be paid to or will be settled by
the said Charles Ferrers Knyvett.

I, the undersigned GEORGE CARLYLE hereby
make application to register "The Hit or
Miss Water Race Company, Registered," under
the provisions of "The Mining Companies Limited
Liability Act, 1865," and I do solemnly and sincerely
declare that the following statement is, to the best of
my belief and knowledge, true in every particular,
namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is "Hit
    or Miss."
  2. The place of operations is at Mount Ida.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is six
    thousand and twenty pounds in three hundred and
    one shares of twenty pounds each.
  4. The amount already paid up is six thousand
    and twenty pounds sterling.
  5. The name of the manager is George Carlyle.
  6. The office of the Company is at Mount Ida.
  7. The names and several residences of the share-
    holders and the number of shares held by each at
