THE following appropriations are recommended
for the approval of the Governor in Council.

at Mongonui
It is recommended in accordance with section XL.
of "The Native Circuit Courts Act, 1858," that
the above amount be appropriated and disposed of
for such purposes as may be de termined by the
Runanga, and be placed at their disposal accordingly.
Approved in Council, the 28th day of June, 1865.

CUSTOMS.
Governor's Order No. 59,
Appointing Hokitika a Warehousing Port.
By His Excellency Sir George Grey, Knight
Commander of the Most Honorable Order
of the Bath, Governor and Commander-
in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony
of New Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same, &c., &c., &c.
IN exercise of the powers in me for this purpose
I, Sir George Grey, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, do hereby appoint that the under-
mentioned Port shall be a Warehousing Port for the
purposes of "The Customs Regulation Act, 1858,"
viz.,
HOKITIKA,
in the Province of Canterbury; and do hereby
approve of the same Port as a Port of Importation.
Given under my hand at Wellington, this
twenty-eighth day of June, one thousand
eight hundred and sixty-five.

Commander of the Most Honorable Order
of the Bath, Governor and Commander-
in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony
of New Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same, &c., &c., &c.

which Bill was reserved for the signification of the
Governor's pleasure thereon, having been laid before
the Governor, His Excellency has been pleased to
withold his assent to the same.

JAMES BOYS, Esq.,
to be Registrar of Marriages, and of Births, Deaths
and Marriages, for the District of Oxford, as the
same is defined in a Proclamation bearing date the
16th August, 1861, and published in Gazette of same
date.

30th April, 1864, and published in Gazette of 6th
May, 1864.
