WELLINGTON, TUESDAY, JULY 11, 1865.

A PROCLAMATION
For the Naturalization of certain Persons.

By His Excellency Sir GEORGE GREY, Knight
Commander of the Most Honorable Order
of the Bath, Governor and Commander-
in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony
of New Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same, &c., &c., &c.

WHEREAS by "The Naturalization Act, 1864,"
it is enacted that every person who shall be de-
clared to come within the operation of that Act by any
Proclamation to be issued in that behalf by His Excel-
lency the Governor, shall, as from the time in such
Proclamation specified, be deemed and taken until
the termination of the next Session of the General
Assembly, to be and to have been from such specified
time, a natural-born subject of Her Majesty, within
the Colony of New Zealand, as fully to all intents
and purposes as if his name had been inserted in the
Schedule to that Act annexed: Provided always that
every such Proclamation shall contain the descrip-
tion, occupation, or calling of every person therein
named, and his place of residence at the date of such
Proclamation:

Now therefore, I, Sir George Grey, the Governor
of New Zealand, in pursuance of the power and
authority in me vested by the said Act, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the persons hereinafter
mentioned shall come within the operation of the said
Act from the dates hereinafter specified, viz.:---

CHRISTIAN HILLE,
from the first day of November, one thousand eight
hundred and fifty-five, native of Hanover, Shepherd,
residence, Waitaki, in the Province of Otago.

FERDINAND REINER,
from the first day of January, one thousand eight
hundred and sixty-three, native of Prussia, Master
Mariner; residence, Auckland, in the Province of
Auckland.

JOSE LEAL DE SIMAS,
from the first day of February, one thousand eight
hundred and sixty-three, native of Portugal, Gardener;
residence, Wellington, in the Province of Wellington.

HENRY ROBB,
from the first day of January, one thousand eight
hundred and sixty-four, native of Bremen, Carpenter;
residence, Auckland, in the Province of Auckland.

DIETERICH WILHELM BOSSELMAN,
from the sixteenth day of July, one thousand eight
hundred and sixty-four, native of Germany, Farmer;
residence, Moutere, in the Province of Nelson..

CATHERINE MARGRETHA BOSSELMAN,
wife of the above Dieterich Wilhelm Bosselman;

JOHANN WILHELM,
HENRICH HERMANN LUDWIG,
DIETERICH HEINRICH ANTON,
FRIEDERICH WILHELM,
HERMANN HEINRICH,
FRIEDERICH DIETERICH,
GEORGE AUGUST,
HEINRICH DIETERICH,
ERNEST HEINRICH FRIEDRICH, and
MARIA DOROTHEA BOSSELMAN,
children of the above Dieterich Wilhelm Bosselman.

HEINRICH FRIEDERICH WILHELM EVERS,
from the sixteenth day of July, one thousand eight
hundred and sixty-four, native of Germany, Farmer;
residence, Moutere, in the Province of Nelson;

SOPHIA MARIA EVERS,
wife of the above Heinrich Friederich Wilhelm Evers.

MARGRETHA BENKE,
from the sixteenth day of July, one thousand eight
hundred and sixty-four, native of Germany, Settler;
residence, Moutere, in the Province of Nelson;

JOHANN DIETERICH,
JOHANN HEINRICH,
SOPHIA DOROTHEA,
SOPHIA DOROTHEA MARGRETHA, and
ANNA CATHERINA BENKE,
children of the above Margretha Benke.

AUGUST SCHILDHAUER,
from the thirteenth day of November, one thousand
eight hundred and sixty-four, native of Germany,
Laborer; residence, Moutere, in the Province of
Nelson;
