all the real and personal estate and effects of
him the said Euchar Lechner unto the said
William Henderson Calder, of Invercargill,
aforesaid, merchant, and William Gieson, of the
same place, merchant, upon trust for the col-
lection and conversion into money of the said
estate and effects and the distribution of the
nett proceeds pro rata, and subject to existing
legal priorities (if any) amongst such of the
creditors of the said Euchar Lechner as shall
duly prove their respective debts by affidavit
filed in the office of the Deputy Registrar at
Invercargill, Southland, within the space of
three calendar months from the date of this
order and upon and subject to such other trusts
and provisions as the Court may on or before
the final hearing of the said petition direct or
approve.

In the matter of the petition of Charles
Hubbard, of Sowburns, Hamilton's
Bush, in the Province of Otago, store-
keeper, a debtor, and in the matter of
the petition of James Pearce and Ed-
ward Wilt Dwiden, of Waikouaiti, in
the Province of Otago aforesaid, credi-
tors of the said Charles Hubbard, to
the extent of not less than fifty pounds
and in the matter of the "Debtor and
Creditors Act, 1862."

UPON reading the petition of the said
Charles Hubbard, and the affidavit there-
unto annexed, and upon hearing Mr. Prender-
gast of counsel for the said petitioner: It is
ordered that before the eighteenth day of March
next or within such extended time as this Court
should grant for that purpose the said petitioner
do convey, assign, and make over all his real
and personal estate and effects unto James
Pearce and Edward Wilt Dwiden, of Waikou-
aiti, in the Province of Otago, aforesaid, upon
trust for the collection and conversion into
money of the said estate and effects and the
distribution of the nett proceeds pro rata and
subject to existing legal priorities (if any)
amongst such of the creditors of the said Peti-
tioner as should duly prove their respective
debts by affidavit filed in the office of the regis-
trar at Dunedin, within the space of six calen-
dar months from the date of this Order: And
upon and subject to such other trusts and pro-
visions as the Court may at or before the final
hearing of the said petition direct or appoint.

thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.

do hereby certify that the foregoing name of an
Officiating Minister within the meaning of "The
Marriage Act, 1854," has been sent in to me in
addition to the names in a list published in the
New Zealand Gazette, No. 3, of the 31st of
January, in the present year.

Given under my hand at Auckland, this
fourth day of March, 1865.

Picton and Blenheim Railway.

NOTICE is hereby given that application is
intended to be made by the Superintendent
of the Province of Marlborough to the General
Assembly, at the ensuing session thereof, for
leave to bring in a Bill to enable the said Su-
perintendent and his successors, to make and
maintain a Railway, with Buildings, Approaches,
Stations, and Works, connected therewith,
commencing at or near the Government Wharf
in the Town of Picton, and passing from, in,
through. or into the several townships, places,
or other territorial divisions following, that is
to say:-

Town of Picton, Picton Suburban, Waitohi
Valley, Village of Tua Marina, Tua
Marina Suburban; thence over the
Wairau river, at or near the Ferry
there; thence through Wairau West,
Omaka District, and the Town of
Blenheim; and terminating at or near
the river Omaka, in the said Town of
Blenheim, all in the Province of Marl-
borough; and to construct and main-
tain a bridge over the Wairau River,
at or near the Wairua Ferry afore-
said.

And by the said Bill, it is proposed to consti-
tute the said Superintendent, and his successors
a Corporation for the purposes of the said Bill
and undertaking, with power to hold land and
hereditaments in pepetuity; and to sue and be
sued. And it is intended to apply for powers
to enable the said Superintendent, for the pur-
pose of the said undertaking, to take and pur-
chase land and houses compulsorily; and to
levy tolls, rates, and duties; and to confer
vary, and distinguish exemptions from payment
of tolls, rates, and duties; and to confer, vary,
and extinguish other rights and privileges;
and to make byelaws; and to empower the said
Superintendent to transfer, sell, and lease the
said undertaking with all the rights and powers
and liabilities proposed to be conferred by the
said Bill, or arising thereunder to such Com-
missioners, Trustees, or other persons, and at
such time and in such manner, and upon such
conditions as may be declared by Act of the
Legislature of the said Province.

And notice is hereby further given that copies
of the said Bill will be deposited in the Private
Bill Office within fourteen days from the com-
mencement of the said session and copies of the
plans, sections, and books of reference, and of
this notice, will be deposited for public inspec-
tion at the Office of the Registrar of Deeds at
Picton aforesaid, on or before the 31st day of
March instant; at the Office of the Colonial
Secretary, at Wellington, on or before the com-
mencement of the said session; and in the
Private Bill Office on or before the commence-
ment of the said session.
