Post Office at Akaroa to be a Money Order
Office.

NOTICE is hereby given that His Excel-
lency the Governor has been pleased to
appoint the Post Office at Akaroa, from 1st
April next, to be a Money Order Office for the
Issue and Payment of Money Orders.

NOTICE TO MARINERS.
Godley Head Lighthouse.
ON and after the 1st day of April, 1865, a
light will be exhibited on Godley Head, at
the entrance to Lyttelton Harbour, Banks' Pen-
insula, in Lat. 43Β° 35' 32" south, and Long.
172Β° 49' 30" East. The light is of second
order, Dioptric, fixed, white, about 440 feet
above the level of high water, and will be visible
in ordinary clear weather at a distance of 27
miles, allowing ten feet for the height of the
observer's eye. The light will be visible from
about E. S. round by the North to about
N.N.W. W. The tower is thirty feet in
height from base to vane.

"Customs Regulation Act, 1858," for the re-
ception of goods under bond.
The whole of a new wooden building, situate
in the Market Place, Wanganui, facing the
Market Place, occupied by William Finnimore,
and known as
FINNIMORE'S WAREHOUSE.

In the matter of Euchar Lechner, late of
Invercargill, in the Province of South-
land, tobacconist, a debtor, in the
matter of the petition of William
Henderson Calder, of Invercargill,
merchant, one of the partners of the
firm of Messieurs. Calder, Blacklock,
and Company, of Invercargill, mer-
chants, and William Gieson, of Inver-
cargill, merchant, being respectively
creditors of the said Euchar Lechner,
to the extent of not less than fifty
pounds, and in the matter of the
"Debtor and Creditors Act, 1862."
Dated the 14th day of February,
one thousand eight hundred and
sixty-five.
UPON reading the Petition of the said Wil-
liam Henderson Calder and William Gieson
and the several affidavits thereunto annexed and
upon hearing Mr. Prendergast of counsel for
the petitioning creditors it is ordered that the
Deputy Registrar of this honorable Court at
Invercargill, in the Province of Southland, do
in the name and on the behalf of the said debtor
Euchar Lechner, convey, assign, and make over
