SUPREME COURT.

NOTICE is hereby given that a Sitting
of the Supreme Court for the despatch
of Criminal business will be holden at the
Court-House, Queen Street, Auckland, on
Wednesday, the first day of June next, at
Eleven o'clock in the forenoon, and that a
sitting for the despatch of Civil business will
be holden at the Court-House on Tues-
day, the seventh day of June next, at
Eleven o'clock in the forenoon; at which
times and place all, persons under recog-
nizance to appear as Prosecutors, Defendants,
or Witnesses are required to give their
attendance.

In the matter of the Debtors and Creditors
Act, 1862, and in the matter of WILLIAM
JENKINS, a debtor, late of Wakatipu, now
of Dunedin, storekeeper, and the Petition
of THOMAS POLE, ROBERT DODS, JOHN
CAMERON, and WILLIAM GREGG, of Dune-
din, merchants, creditors of the said WIL-
LIAM JENKINS, to the extent of not less
than fifty pounds.

Monday, the twenty-third day of November,
one thousand eight hundred and sixty-
three.

UPON reading the Petition of the above-
named Thomas Pole, Robert Dods,
John Cameron, and William Gregg, and
further reading the several affidavits of the
above named Robert Dods, the above-named
William Gregg, and of Michael Clayton
Creagh, of Dunedin, clerk to George Elliott
Barton, solicitor for the Petitioner, verifying
the said Petition, and on hearing Mr. Bar-
ton, of Counsel for the above-named Peti-
tioner, it is ordered that on or before the
seventh day of December, one thousand eight
hundred and sixty-three, Robert Chapman,
Esquire, Registrar of this Court, do, in the
name and on behalf of William Jenkins, the
above-named debtor, convey, assign, and
make over all the real and personal estate and
effects of the said William Jenkins to Wil-

liam Hildreth, of Dunedin, merchant, and
Robert Smith Dods, of the same place,
merchant, upon trusts for the collection and
conversion into money of the said estate and
effects, and the distribution of the net pro-
ceeds pro rata, and subject to existing legal
priorities (if any) amongst such of the
Creditors of the said William Jenkins as
shall duly prove their respective debts by
affidavit filed in the office of the Registrar at
Dunedin, within the space of six celendar
months from the eighteenth day of August,
one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.
And upon and subject to such other trusts
and provisions as this Court may at or before
the final hearing of the said petition direct
or approve of.

SOLOMON, late of the Dunstan, Store-
keeper.

UPON reading the petition of the above-
named Petitioner and the several affi-
davits thereunto annexed, and upon hearing
Mr. Ward, of counsel for the said Petitioner,
It is ordered that within the space of seven
days from the date of this order or within
such extended time as this Court may grant
for the purpose, he the said Petitioner do
convey, assign, and make over his real and
personal estate and effects unto Joseph
Lazarus, of Dunedin, merchant, upon trusts
for the collection and conversion into money
of the said estate and effects, and the distri-
bution of the net proceeds pro rata and sub-
ject to existing legal priorities (if any)
amongst such Creditors of the said Peti-
tioner, Saul Solomon, as shall duly prove
their debts by affidavit filed in the office of
the Registrar, at Dunedin, of this Honorable
Court, within the space of three calendar
months from the date of this present order.
And upon and subject to such other trusts
and provisions as the Court may at or before
the final hearing of the said Petitioner,
Saul Solomon, direct and approve of.
Dated at Dunedin the thirteenth day of
August, 1863.
