which Bills were reserved for the significa-
tion of the Governor's pleasure thereon,
having been laid before the Governor, His
Excellency has been pleased to withhold his
assent to the same.

The Red refractors of Round Island Light,
Trincomalie, having been removed, the Fixed
Bright Light will be observed from every
point of the horizon.
This Notice should be considered with the
Notice dated Master Attendant's Office,

Height-5 ft. 8 in.
Colour of Hair-Dark.
Colour of Eyes-Hazel.
When last heard of-About three years
since, was then stoker on board the Steamer
'Great Britain,' which he left, and is supposed
to have gone to the Otago Diggings.
Tenders for Supply of Coal.

NO Tenders having been received for the
Supply of Coal to the General Govern-
ment for the six months commencing the
1st inst., in accordance with notice published
in the New Zealand Gazette of the 6th ult.,
No. 11, page 146, Tenders will be received
up to noon of Wednesday the 18th inst. The
rates per ton to be specified: For best Eng-
lish coal, screened and delivered at the Public
Offices in 1 cwt. bags, and for best Newcastle
(N.S.W.) coals screened end delivered at the
Public Offices in 1 cwt. bags.
