land, passed in the eighteenth year of the
reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria and
intituled "The Marriage Act 1854," the
following name of an Officiating Minister,
within the meaning of the said Act, is publish-
d for general information:

I, John B. Bennett, Registrar General of
Births, Deaths and Marriages in New Zea-
land, do hereby cereify that the forgoing
name of an Officiating Minister, within the
meaning of "The Marriage Act 1854," has
been sent in to me in addition to the names
in lists published in the New Zealand Gazette,
No. 2, of the 23rd of January, No. 5, of the
14th of February, No. 12. of the 25th of
March, No. 14, of the 21st of April, No. 28,
of the 11th of July, No. 31, of the 22nd of
July and No. 36, of the 6th of August in the
present year.

NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of
the Supreme Court for the despatch of
Criminal Business, will be holden at the Court
House, Queen-street, Auckland, on Tuesday,
the first day of September next, at eleven
o'clock in the forenoon; and that a sitting for
the despatch of Civil Business will be holden
at the Court House, on Monday, the seventh
day of September next, at eleven o'clock
in the forenoon, at which times and places all
persons under recognizance to appear as pro-
secutors, defendants or witnesses are required
to give their attendance.

THE following Light House dues for the
Port of Wellington in New Zealand are
hereby fixed in accordance with the powers
vested in the Chief Marine Board by the
XXV; section of "The Marine Board Act,
1862:"

1st. For all vessels from Europe or any
other ports or places beyond the Australasian
Colonies, 9d. per ton register.
2nd. All vessels from the Australian Co-
lonies or Tasmania, 6d. per ton register.
3rd. For every steam vessel and sailing
vessel employed in the coasting trade, 2d. per
ton register.
The above dues shall be levied on entering
only, and payable on and after the 1st day of
September 1863.
