MILITIA.

No. 1156.

THE names of many persons resident in the
Militia District of Auckland having just
been missed in the Rolls which have just been
formed, the attention of Militimen is called to
the following clause of the Law regulating the
Militia:-

"The senior Officer of every Battalion or
"Company or any other Commissioned Officer
"appointed by him, shall enroll all the men
"liable to serve therein, and any man who
"shall not, within three months, after his
"coming liable to serve, give in his name, age,
"and place of residence to such Officer, in
"order to be enrolled, shall forfeit any sum
" not exceeding five pounds."

Any person, personally or by post, giving in
his name, age, and place of residence,

At the Office of Captain Tighe, Adjutant
1st Battalion, Auckland,
At the Office of Captain Wilson, Adjutant,
2nd Battalion, Onehunga,
Or at the Office of Captain Walmsley, Ad-
jutant, 3rd Battalion, Otahuhu,
will be treated as having complied with the
Law.

B virtue and exercise of the power and
authority for this purpose vested in me,
I, THOMAS RAWLINGS MOULD, C.B., the
Officer commanding in the Auckland Militia
District, do hereby fix and appoint the time
and place hereunder written to be the time and
place for the training and exercise of that part
of the first Battalion of the Auckland Regi-
ment of Militia which has been called out for
training and exercise by warrant under the
hand of His Excellency the Governor bearing
date the 15th instant.

1st July next, at 7 oclock, a.m. Albert Baracks
