the Province of Marlborough.

HIS Excellency the Governor directs it to
be notified that the Speaker of the
Provincil Council of the Province of Marl-
borough has reported that

THOMAS CARTER, ESQ.,

has been duly elected Superintendent of that
Province under the provisions of the "New
Provinces Act, 1858."

IT is hereby notified that writs issued for the
Council of the Province of Marlborough have
been returned with certificates to the effect

Messrs. Philip Roderick M'Rae, and Alex-
ander Mowatt.

For the District of Wairau Valley—

For the District of Tua Marina—

Godfrey, have been duly elected.
