THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Colony, on the first day of January, one
thousand eight hundred and fifty-nine, and
do hereby declare and appoint that on and
from the day of the date hereof, the Limits of
the Port of Wairau shall beβ€”
A line drawn from the White Bluffs in
Cloudy Bay to the head of Dacre Bay in
Tory Channel, thence to Mount Treble, from
Mount Treble to the junction of the Wairau
and Tua Marina Rivers, and thence to the
White Bluffs, passing through the township
of Blenheim.

Given under my hand, at Auckland,
this eighteenth day of October,
one thousand eight hundred
and sixty-two.

Appointing Limits for Port of Wellington.

By His Excellency Sir GEORGE
GREY, Knight Commander of
the Most Honorable Order of
the Bath, Governor and Com-
mander-in-Chief in and over
Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same,
&c., &c., &c.

IN exercise of the power in me for this
purpose vested by the "Customs Regu-
lation Act, 1858," I, Sir George Grey, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby appoint that on and from the day of
the date hereof, the Limits of the Port of
Wellington shall be as follows:β€”
Within the boundary lines, commencing
from the Light House on Pencarrow Head, a
line drawn due East, true bearing four geo-
graphical miles, from thence, a line drawn
due North, ten geographical miles, from
thence, a line drawn due West, nine geogra-
phical miles, from thence, a line drawn due
South, ten geographical miles, and from
thence, a line drawn due East, five geogra-
phical miles to the starting point, viz., the
Light House on Pencarrow Head.

Given under my hand, at Auckland,
this eighteenth day of October,
one thousand eight hundred
and sixty-two.
