Form of Occupation License.
No. In accordance with the Rules and
Regulations under which Gold Mining Leases
of Crown Lands shall be granted within the
"Nelson Gold Fields," I, A. B., (Warden)
of the said Gold Field, being duly em-
powered in that behalf, do hereby license
C. D. to occupy for Gold Mining, and
purposes connected therewith, all that piece
or parcel of Land situated at
containing by admeasurement acres,
more or less, subject nevertheless to all the
terms and conditions under which Occupation
Licenses shall be granted.

WARRANT
Adpointing a Polling Place at Coromandel.

the Most Honorable Order of
the Bath, Governor and Com-
mander-in-Chief in and over
Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same,
&c., &c., &c.

TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL
COME, GREETING:—

WHEREAS by an Act of the General
Assembly, intituled "The Regulation
of Elections Act 1858," it is enacted that it
shall be lawful for the Governor by Warrant
under his hand from time to time to appoint
Polling Places for each Electoral District
within or without the limits thereof, and to
appoint any one of such places to be the
Principal Polling Place for the District, and
all or any of such Polling Places at any time
to abolish and to appoint other Polling Places
in lieu thereof:—

And whereas by another Act of the General
Assembly, intituled "The Provincial Elections
Act, 1858," it is enacted that subject to cer-
tain provisions therein contained every election
of the Superintendent or of a Member of the
Provincial Council of a Province shall be con-
ducted in the manner prescribed by "The
Regulation of Elections Act, 1858" aforesaid,
and all the provisions of the said last mentioned
Act shall apply to the Elections of Superin-
tends and Members of Provincial Council:

Now know ye, that I, Sir George Grey, the
Governor of the said Colony, in pursuance of
the power and authority in me vested by the
said Acts, do hereby appoint the following place
to be an additional Polling Place for the District
hereinafter specified for the election of Super-
intendents of the Province of Auckland,
namely:—

Appointing Picton a Warehousing Port.

the Bath, Governor and Com-
mander-in-Chief in and over
Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same,
&c., &c., &c.

IN exercise of the power in me for this
purpose vested by the "Customs Regu-
lation Act, 1858," I, Sir George Grey, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby appoint that the Port of Picton shall
be a Warehousing Port for the purposes of
the "Customs Regulation Act, 1858," and
do hereby approve of the same as a Port for
the Importation of Tobacco.

this eighteenth day of October,
one thousand eight hundred
and sixty-two.

lation Act, 1858," I, Sir George Grey, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby annul the Limits of the Port of
Wairau, as appointed by an Order given
under the hand of Colonel Thomas Gore
Browne, C.B., late Governor of the said
