oneke block to the Native reserve called Otai,
thence following the Boundary line of Otai,
bearing 140° 2,077 links, 38° 50' 1,300 links,
3° 0' 2045 links, and thence along the bound-
ary of the Waioneke Block to Awataha, the
point of commencement.
PIROA BLOCK,
CONTAINING 9200 ACRES.
BOUNDARIES.
Commencing at Otupua, and following the
Survey line bearing 208°, crossing the Rivers
Mangakara and Haronga until it reaches the
boundary of the Waipu block, [which land
has been disposed of to the Government
formerly;] thence along the boundary of the
Waipu block until it reaches the Pukekaroro
block, thence along the boundary of Graham's
land bearing 248° 29,900 links, thence along
the boundary of The Maungaturoto block bear-
ing 301° 15' 28,880 links, to Otupua, the
point of commencement.
ATIU RESERVE,
CONTAINING 37 ACRES.
Situate within Whiritoa Block.
MAUNGATUROTO BLOCK,
CONTAINING 6815 ACRES.
Commencing at Tutainui and following
the survey line 22,220 links bearing 47° 15'
to Otihoemai, where it turns, 7000 links, bearing
271° 35'10,935 links, bearing 272° 35, to Te
Pahi, thence along the Survey line of Papa-
roa 15,600 links, bearing 24° 35' 20,600
links, bearing 358° 50' 930 links, bearing
153° 0' to Otupua, thence following along
the Survey line of Piroa 28,888 links, bearing
58° 45', to Rangipokaia, where it turns, 6,320
links, bearing 154° 20' to the commencing
point, i. e. Tutainui.

ESTIMATED TO CONTAIN 4705 ACRES...
BOUNDARIES.
Commencing at Te Pa o te "Karawhiu" on
the Survey line of the block known as
"Otengi," from thence to "Waiwhakata," from
thence it follows the Survey line of the "Oruru"
until it reaches the stream called "Waimi-
hia," the hill called "Hikurangi" is excluded
on the Survey line of (Murphy's) land, it fol-
lows that line until it reaches "Te Pa o Kara-
whiu where it commenced.
KOKOHUIA,
ESTIMATED TO CONTAIN 207 A., 3 R., 0 P..
BOUNDARIES.
Commencing on the West by Survey line of
the Ahipara block first purchased; from
thence in a northerly direction, along Native
land, from thence it turns until it reaches the
sawpit and the sacred place, from thence to
the creek or water, until it joins the boundary
on the western side.
TARAIRE BLOCK.
ADDITION..
ESTIMATED TO CONTAIN 883 ACRES...
Commencing at a point known as Te Rapa
o te Awha on the banks of the river Taraire,
thence towards the Waitukuhuruhuru, from
thence to Tipapahoria, from thence to Te
Puatokotu until it reaches the Whanaunga o
Porohe on Mr. Shepherd's boundary line,
here it turns and follows straight along Mr.
Shepherd's boundary line until it reaches the
Taraire stream, it follows the stream until it
reaches Te Rapa o te Awha, where the
boundary commenced.

ders will be received at this office until
the 1st November next, to be addressed to the
"Commissioner for Railways, Sydney, New
South Wales," and marked "Tender for Leas-
ing Railways" from parties willing to Lease
the Lines of Railway in New South Wales
from Sydney to Picton and Penrith, and from
Newcastle to Singleton, in acccordance with the
conditions and Specification published in the
Supplement to the Government Gazette on 19th
July, instant, copies of which with plan at-
tached indicating the extent to which this
contract applies, may be seen on application
at the Colonial Secretary's Office, Auckland.
