IN exercise of the power in me for this pur-
pose vested by the “Customs Regulation
Act, 1858,” I, the Commissioner of Customs,
do hereby appoint that the following shall be a
Legal Quay or Landing Place for the Port of
Picton —
The frontage of the Town of Picton, on
Newton or Waitohi Bay.
Given under my hand at Auckland,
this sixth day of April, One
thousand eight hundred and
sixty-one.

NOTICE is hereby given that Tenders will
be received at this office, before 12
o'clock (noon) on Monday, the 29th April,
1861, from persons willing to execute certain
works and alterations required to a Building
at Onehunga, to convert it into a Bonded Store
and Custom House, according to a design and
specification which may be seen on application
to the Inspector of Public Works.
Tenders to be endorsed “Tender for Alterra-
tions, &c., Custom House, Onehunga.”
The right of selecting any Tender, or de-
clining all, is reserved.

I, THOMAS OUTHWAITE, Registrar of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, do solemnly and sincerely declare that the above is a true and faithful Return of all Balances paid by me into the Treasury on account of Deceased Persons' Estates officially administered by me, from the 1st day of January to the 31st day of March, 1861, (both days inclusive,) on account of Deceased Persons' Estates.
Made and declared at Auckland, this 9th day of April, 1861, before me, GEORGE ALFRED ARNEY, C.J.
I certify that the sum of Two pounds four shillings and sixpence stood to the credit of the Colonial Treasurer on
