THE following Electoral Rolls, formed under the "New Provinces Act, 1858," for the
Election of Members of the Provincial Council of the Province of Marlborough, are
published for general information.

Pursuant to the authority given to me by virtue of a Proclamation by His Excellency the
Governor, dated the first day of February, one thousand eight hundred and sixty, I, Francis
Dart Fenton, do declare that the several Electoral Rolls hereunder written have been formed
by me in manner and form directed by the said Proclamation.

VUW Te Waharoa — NZ Gazette 1860, No 5

Parliament sat at General Assembly House (nicknamed the 'Shedifice') in Auckland from 1854-1864, sharing the building with the Auckland Provincial Council.

Ironically the Upper House met on the lower story, and the Lower House on the upper story.
