Area— acres.

In a rectilinear block; bounded on the N.
E. and S.W. by the prolonged boundaries of
land formerly applied for—400 links; on the

formerly applied for—500 links; and on the
S.E. by a line parallel thereto—500 links.
This application is in extension of the ap-
plication No. 3, Gazetted 18th January, 1860.

on the West bank of the Slate River, near the
lower end of the island below Brandy point;
thence running N. 47° W.—200 links;
thence N. 18° 30′ E.—500 links; thence S.
47° E.—200 links to the bank of the Slate
River, and returning along the river 500 links
to the point of commencement.
No. 23—Applicant—John Day.
Locality—Cole's Gully
Area—2 acres.

In an irregular block; commencing at a
point on the East bank of Cole's Creek, and
following that stream S. 46° E. a distance of
of 600 links, with an average breadth of 100
links from the East bank; thence continuing
in the course of the stream S. 15° E.—322
links, and S. 43° E.—469 links, with an
average breadth of 100 links from each bank.
