Bath, Governor and Commander-
in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's
Colony of New Zealand, and
and Vice-Admiral of the same,
&c., &c., &c.

IN exercise of the power in me vested for
this purpose by "The Customs Regula-
tions Act, 1858," I, Thomas Gore Browne,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby annul the limits of the Port of Ka-
whia, and do declare the same to be no longer
a Port.

Given under my hand, at Auckland,
this twenty-ninth day of May,

AT THE GOVERNMENT HOUSE AT AUCKLAND,
THE NINTH DAY OF JUNE, 1860.
Present :-

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL,
WHEREAS by the Harbour Regulations
Ordinance, No. 15, of Session II., it is
enacted that it shall be lawful for the Governor
in Council from time to time to make all such
Regulations respecting Pilots and Pilotage,
Quarantine and Harbours, as in the said
Ordinance provided: And whereas by an last
Order in Council made on the Twenty-third
day of February last the Governor in Council
did make certain Regulations for the Port and
Harbour of Auckland, and it is expedient to
amend the same in manner hereafter men-
tioned.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor
in Council doth hereby make the following
additional Regulation for the said Port and
Harbour.

Any person landing Cattle from any vessel
or boat in the Suburbs of Auckland between
the hours of eight (8) in the morning and
eight (8) in the evening, shall be liable to a
penalty not exceeding Twenty pounds for
every such offence.

AT THE GOVERNMENT HOUSE AT AUCKLAND,
THE NINTH DAY OF JUNE, 1860.
Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Act of the General
Assembly of New Zealand entitled
the "Militia Act, 1858," it is enacted that it
shall be lawful for the Governor in Council
from time to time to constitute throughout the
Colony, or in any part thereof, Militia Districts,
and such Districts from time to time to abolish,
and the boundaries thereof to vary, and to
designate the Militia of any such District by
the name of a Regiment, Battalion, Corps, or
Company as he shall think fit.
And whereas at an Executive Council held
at the Government House at Auckland afore-
said on the Twenty-seventh day of February
last His Excellency the Governor did constitute
(amongst other Militia Districts) a Militia
District to be called and known by the name
of the
WAIRARAPA MILITIA DISTRICT,
and did define the boundaries of such District
