PROVINCE OF WELLINGTON.
Wairarapa District.
Tupurupuru Block.
Containing about 35,000 Acres.
The boundary commences at Waihorohika
on the Tauheru river, and down the Tauheru
southward to Tamikiwaha, thence to the Kiki
on the Makahakaha stream up the Makaha-
kaha to Mongahuia, thence eastward to Ma-
tangikaihau, Kahapahapa, Pukemanga-manga,
Parangiao, Te Parapara Kourarau, thence
westward to Kakanui, thence down the Ma-
ringiawai to the foot of the hill, thence along
the foot of the hills to Te Wharo, Te Manga
o te whitau, Autokitoki, Te Whakarai, Wai-
koko, Taumata Taurahingako, thence east-
ward to the cliffs below Hinewaka, Te Po o te
rehunga, Te Manga o te Pohatu, Pari whara-
riki on the Maungaraki range, Te Whawhati
wahine, thence down the Mangoriki creek into
Wainuiora river, up the Wainuiora river north-
ward to te Horo, thence westward, Taurangi,
Waipapa, Wai o te Rangi, Te Ngutu koko,
Awhenua, Waihanginangina, Ter Motu o te
Topune, thence down the Umu o te Ranga
creek to Waihorokika on the Tauheru river,
where the boundaries commenced.
huata, thence in a N.W. direction to the Puahi,
thence in a straight line to the west end of the
Waiapokopoko swamp and through the
swamp in a straight line (bearing by compass)
290 30' to Te Maire up the Maire stream
to the Kokoti stream and up the Kokoti to a
marked stake thence to the Wakapaus, thence
easterly in a straight line (bearing by compass)
27° 00' to a stake on the Ruamahanga,
thence following the course of the Ruamahanga
river to Manawawiri, the point of commence-
ment.
The following reserves are made within the
above boundaries for the Natives and are
marked off on the ground :—
897 acres for Wairua and others on the
Wainniora river.
100 acres for Maika Purakau on the
Tauheru.
495 acres for Wiremu Kingi te Hiakai on
the Tauheru.
50 acres for Heneri Kingi on the
Tauheru.
100 acres for Ngairo, and others at Tu-
purupuru.
100 acres for Te Kaninamu on the
Tauheru.
200 acres on the Makahakaha.
The foregoing reserves are more particularly
delineated on the plan now deposited in the
Crown Lands' Office in Wellington.
PROVINCE OF WELLINGTON.
Waikanae District.
Wainui Block, area 30,000 acres.
BOUNDARIES.
Commencing on the sea coast at the mouth
of the Whareroa stream, up the stream to the
Whareroa settlement, thence in a straight line
over the hills to Paparauponga, thence southerly
along the boundary of the land formerly ceded
by the Ngatekahungunu to the Crown, to
Pawakataka, whence it turns in a westerly di-
rection in a straight line over the hills to
Ponawa and on to Tunupo crossing the road
and running in a straight line (bearing by com-
pass) to the Ana-a-hau on the sea coast, and
along the sea coast (north) to Paekakariki,
Wainui, and to the mouth of the Whareroa
stream, the point of commencement.

Whareroa Settlement.... 17 acres.
Wainui Township.......... 135 "
Paekakariki Settlement... 135 "
Ngapaipurua Cultivations. 280 "
Te Rongo o te wera..... 160 "
Te Puka...................... 60 "
A piece of land situated at Paekakariki six
and a half acres in extent is conveyed by Deed
of Gift from the aboriginal owners to the half-
cast children of John and Peti Nicol.
A piece of land situated also at Paekakariki
two a half acres is conveyed by Deed of Gift
from the aboriginal owners to Henry Flugent.
PROVINCE OF WELLINGTON.
Forty Mile Bush District.
Makuri Block,
Estimated to contain 12,000 acres.
The boundary commences at Wahatuara,
thence running south on Pelichet's boundary
line of the Castle Point Block to Manuriki on
the Tiraumea river, thence westward up the
Tiraumea to the Makuri, thence up the Makuri
river northward to a point westward of Waha-
tuara, thence in a straight line to Wahatuara,
where the boundaries commenced.
PROVINCE OF WELLINGTON.
Wairarapa District.
Tirohanga Block, area 1700 acres.
BOUNDARIES.
Commencing at the confluence of the O-
whangai stream with the Ruamahanga river,
running in a north-easterly direction (bearing
by compass 49° 00') to Mangapungapunga on
the Kopuaranga river, thence down the river
to its confluence with the Ruamahanga, thence
up the Ruamahanga to the mouth of the O-
whangai stream, being the point of commence-
ment.

Pihautea Block, area 518 acres.
Bidwell's Homestead.
BOUNDARIES.
Commencing at the Ruamahanga river at
Manawawiri, thence westerly in a straight line
(bearing by compass) 249° 9' to the Whare-
