THE following Act passed by the General
Assembly of New Zealand, in the session
held in the nineteenth and twentieth years of
Her Majesty Queen Victoria, intituled
"The New Zealand Native Reserves Act, 1856"
having been laid before the Queen in conform-
ity with the provisions of the New Zealand
Constitution Act, Her Majesty has been
graciously pleased to leave the same to its
operation.

THE following Act passed by the General
Assembly of New Zealand, in the Ses-
sion held in the nineteenth and twentieth years
of her Majesty Queen Victoria, intituled,
"The Waste Lands Act, 1856,"

having been laid before the Queen, in con-
formity with the provisions of the New Zealand
Constitution Act, it has been intimated by the
principal Secretary of State for the Colonies
that her Majesty has been advised to disallow
the same, and that an Order in Council for that
purpose will shortly be despatched.

vincial Council of the Province of Auck-
land, intituled,
"Diversion of Roads Act, 1858," Session 8,
No.1,
*" Auckland Waste Land Act," 1858, Session
8, No. 2,
which Bills were reserved for the signi-
fication of the Governor's pleasure, having been
laid before the Governor, in conformity with
the provisions of the Constitution Act, His
Excellency has been pleased to assent to the
same.

for a Vessel to leave Auckland, on the 1st
of April next, or on such day as the Govern-
ment may appoint, for New Plymouth
and Nelson; and if required by the Collector
of Customs at Nelson, to leave Nelson for New
Plymouth and Manukau, on such day as may
be indicated by the same Officer, -under a

of the General Assembly of New Zealand,
entitled "The Marriage Act, 1854," the fol-
lowing name of an Officiating Minister within
the meaning of the said Act, is published for
general information.

I, JOHN B. BENNETT, Registrar-General of
Births Deaths and Marriages, in New Zealand,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Name of
an OFFICIATING MINISTER within the meaning
of the "The Marriage Act, 1854," has been
sent into me, in addition to the names in Lists
published respectively in the "New Zealand
Government Gazette," Numb. 2, of the 26th of
January, and Numb. 4, of the 11th of Feb-
ruary in the present year.

Given under my hand, at Auckland, this
9th day of March, 1858.

PUBLIC NOTICE.

AT the next Session of the General Assem-
bly, I intend to apply for an Act to au-
thorise the sale of certain Lands in the City
and North Suburbs of Auckland, held by me
in Trust for Native purposes; and to provide
for the investment of the proceeds of sale in the
purchase of other Lands, and the erection of
Buildings, and appropriated for the like pur-
poses.
