THE following Electoral Rolls, formed under the "New Provinces Act, 1858," for the
Election of Members of the Provincial Council of the Province of Hawke's Bay, are
published for general information.

In pursuance of the authority given to me by virtue of a Proclamation by His Excellency
the Governor, dated the first day of December, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-eight,
I, Donald McLean, do declare, that the several Electoral Rolls hereunder written have been
formed by me in manner and form directed by the said Proclamation.
Dated the second day of December, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-eight.
