The Schedule referred to in the foregoing
Proclamation.
1.—NAPIER DISTRICT.
The boundary commences at the mouth of
the Tutae Kuri River, and follows the East
bank of the said River to Awatoto, thence by
line due East to the sea coast, and along the
sea coast in a Northerly direction to the en-
trance of Port Napier, thence following the
coast line to the mouth of the Tutae Kuri
River.
2.—NAPIER COUNTRY DISTRICT.
The boundary commences at the mouth of
the Ngaruroro River, and following the North
bank of the said River in a Westerly direction
to Omuomakui, thence along the Eastern
boundary of the Marae Kakaho block to where
such boundary crosses the Manganuku stream,
thence along the Northern bank of the Manga
nuku stream in a North-Westerly direction
till such stream meets the Southern boundary of
the Aorangi and Otaranga blocks, thence along
such boundary to Pohatu Naha on the Ruahine
Range, thence following the Ruahine Range
to its Northern termination, thence along a
line running due North until it meets the 39th
parallel South latitude, thence along such
parallel in an Easterly direction to its junction
with a line bearing 310° 30' magnetic from
the fork of the Waikare and Mohaka Rivers,
and following the said line to such fork, and
thence by the Southern bank of the Waikare
River to its mouth, and thence along the sea
coast in a Southerly direction to the entrance
to Port Napier, and thence following the coast
line to the mouth of the Tutae Kuri River and
along the Western bank of the Tutae Kuri
River to Awatoto, thence by a line due East
to the sea coast, and along the sea coast in a
Southerly direction to the mouth of the said
Ngaruroro River.
3.—CLIVE DISTRICT.
The boundary commences at the mouth of
the Manawarakau stream, thence up the
Northern bank of the said stream to Matahuia,
thence along the Southern boundary line of
the Mata block to Te Tuhi, thence by the
Northen bank of the Moho Kariki stream to
its junction with the Tukituki River at Hawea,
thence by the Eastern bank of the Tukituki
River to the boundary of the Native Reserve
(Kohine Rakau), thence following the boundary
of Te Mata block to the Ngaruroro stream,
thence down the South bank of the said stream
to the sea coast, thence following the sea coast
in an Easterly and Southerly direction to the
said Manawarakau River.
4.—MOHAKA DISTRICT.
The boundary commences at the mouth of
the Waikare River, thence up the North bank
thereof to the fork of the Waikare and Mohaka
rivers, thence by line bearing 310° 30' to
the 39th parallel South latitude, thence East
along the said parallel to the sea coast, thence
along the sea coast in a Southerly and Westerly
direction to the mouth of the said Waikare
River.
5.—TE AUTE DISTRICT.
The boundary commences at Omuamakui on
the Ngaruro River, following the South bank in
an Easterly direction till it meets the boundary
of Te Mata block, thence Southerly along the
bouudary of Te Mata block to Hawea on the
Tukituki River, thence along the North bank
of the Tukituki River to where the Manga-
tauri joins it, thence by line due West to
Taumata o Mekura on the Ruahine Range,
and along the Ruahine Range in a Northerly
direction to Pohatuhaha, thence in an Easterly
direction along the boundary of the Otaranga
and Aorangi blocks to Parikarangaranga, thence
following the West bank of the Manganuku
stream to the Eastern boundary of the Marae
Kakaho block to Omuomakui on the Ngaru-
roro River.
6.—WAIPUKURAU DISTRICT.
The boundary is by a line commencing at a
stream called Waimata near Cape Turnagain,
running along the Northern boundary of
Puketoi to Puketoi Range, and thence in a
straight line to where Te Ruamea falls into
Manawatu River near Awapurua, thence along
the Manawatu River to the gorge in the Rua-
hine Mountain, thence by a line from the said
gorge running Northerly along Ruahine
Range to Tau mata o mekura, thence by a line
due East from Tau mata o mekura to the
junction of Mangatauri stream with the Tuki
Tuki River, and thence by the South bank of
the Tuki Tuki River to where the Moho
Kariki stream joins it at Hawea, thence by the
South bank of the Mohokariki stream to Te
Tuhi and thence by a straight line to Mata-
huia, thence by the South bank of the Mana-
warakau to its mouth, and thence by the sea
coast from the Manawarakau Southerly to the
mouth of the Waimata.
