Wahatane, thence along the Waitetuna River
as far as Te Waiwherowhero, where the boun-
daries meet.

PROVINCE OF AUCKLAND.
Whangaroa District.
PART OF TE MATA
(Containing about 630 acres.)

The boundary commences at a point a little
below the rapid of Opotoru, which was marked
by the Surveyor's party, thence along the Sur-
vey line till it crosses the road to Aotea, thence
on to the end of the said survey line and on to
Paraoa, thence along the ridge of Paraoa to
Pukemore, thence to Te Kauri, thence des-
cending to Opotoru River, thence along the
course of Opotoru till it reaches the point
below the rapid which was marked by the
Surveyor's party, there the boundaries meet.

be notified that a Writ issued for the
election of a Superintendent of the Province
of Auckland, has been returned with a cer-
tificate to the effect that

Assembly New Zealand, in the session
held in the nineteenth and twentieth years of
the reign of Her Majesty, Queen Victoria,

"The Customs' Duties Act, 1856,"
"The Land Claims Settlement Act, 1856,"

having been laid before the Queen, in confor-
mity with the provisions of the Constitution
Act, Her Majesty has been graciously pleased
to leave the same to their operation.

ensuing elections for the Provincial Council of
the Province of Auckland, there shall be
additional Polling Places at the Resident

fied by the Returning Officer.
