NOTICE.

Custom House, Port Victoria,
12th March, 1855.

THE back portion of the Warehouse sit-
uated on Norwich Quay Lyttelton, and
belonging to Mr. Augustus James Alport,
has been approved for the free warehousing
and securing of goods under Bond according
to the provisions of the Customs Ordi-
nance, Session 1, No. 3, 1841.

THE undermentioned places have been
approved for the free warehousing
and securing of Goods under Bond for the
payment of duties according to the pro-
visions of the Customs Ordinance of 1841,
Session 1, No. 3.

The warehouse situated on Norwich
Quay Lyttelton, belonging to Mr. H. J.
LeCren, and formerly known as Longden
and LeCren's.

That portion of the building situated on
Norwich Quay Lyttelton, and known as
the Canterbury Association Store, at
present in the occupation of Mr. F. J.
Ballard, and generally known as Davis
Bonding Store.

NO eligible Tender having been received
for the supply of Firewood to the Ge-
neral Government as called for by the notice
in the Government Gazette of 6th February
last, No. 3, fresh Tenders will be received at
this Office until noon on Thursday, the
10th May next, for supplying the General
Government with

FIREWOOD.

At per ton, for the usual size, and also for
such as may be required to be cut and split
to a size to suit the fire places in the Public
Offices, to be delivered at the several Public
Offices.

I, FRANCIS DILLON BELL, a Com-
missioner duly appointed by virtue of
the Ordinance No. 15, Session xi, of the Le-
gislative Council of the Islands of New Zea-
land, to hear and decide claims to land by
persons claiming title thereto, from, through,
or under the New Zealand Company, report
that the claims of the persons whose names
appear in the schedule hereunder having
been duly referred to me I do hereby decide
the said persons to be severally entitled to the
Land or Government Scrip set opposite their
respective names.
