mentioned Condemned Goods will be
sold by Public Auction, at Rich's Bonded
Warehouse, on Tuesday, the 22nd of June
next, at one o'clock, p. m.-

37 lbs. Manufactured Tobacco.

appointed for examining and reporting
on all Claims to Land under the Proclamation
of the 26th March, 1844, do hereby give
notice, that I will investigate the under-
mentioned Claims, at the Council Chamber, on
Monday, the 14th day of June, 1847, at ten
o'clock in the forenoon.

The Cases will be heard in the order in
which they stand in the following List, and
all parties interested are hereby summoned to
be in attendance, with their documents and
witnesses.

34 acres, Thirty-four acres, situated at
Mapau, in the district of Eden; bounded on
the north by Government land, on the east by
a swamp, and on the west and south by native

Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chiefs Te Keene, Davis, and Paora.
Consideration £26 sterling.

Case No. 44. Pre-emption Certificate No. 26.
-ROBERT GRAHAM, of Auckland, storekeeper.
20 acres, Twenty acres, situated at Wai
Weta Wera, Mahurangi.

Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chiefs Te Wiremu, Hemara, Row,
Hautapa, Peta, Te Pu, Rawati, Tamu,
Kiamana, and Mahau...
Consideration—26 blankets, 4 spades, 4
double-barrelled guns, 1 piece print, 1 coat,
1 pair trousers, 1 bag shot, 4 cartridge boxes,
3 boxes percussion caps, 1 fine cloth cloak, 5
shifts, cash £16.

Case No. 45. Pre-emption Certificate No. 65.
-HENRY TAYLOR, JOHN LOGAN CAMPBELL,
and WILLIAM BROWN, of Auckland.
100 acres, One hundred acres, being the
Island of Pakihi and Karamuramu, situated to
the eastward of Waiheki, in the Frith of the
Thames.

Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chiefs Ngatai, Ruinga, Taiko,
Rete, and Tara.
Consideration—100 sovereigns, 30 blan-
kets, and 1 cask tobacco.

cording to the provisions of an Ordinance,
Session 7 No. 22, Intituled “An Ordinance
to authorize Compensation in Colonial De-
bentures to be made to certain Claimants to
Land in the Colony of New Zealand," do
hereby notify that I will investigate the un-
der-mentioned Claims at the Council Chamber,
on-Monday, the 14th day of June, 1847, at
ten o'clock in the forenoon.

all parties interested are hereby summoned to
be in attendance with their documents and

by the Tamaki road.

Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chiefs Kawan, Reweti, and Moana.
Consideration—one 8-barrelled gun, 40
muskets, 1 pair boots, 1 gown, 2 frocks, and
one 10-fathom rope.
