I, HENRY MATSON, a Commissioner ap-
pointed for examining and reporting on
all Claims to Land under the Proclamation of
the 26th March, 1844, do hereby notify, that
I will investigate the under-mentioned Claims
in the Council Chamber, on Monday, the
15th day of March, 1847, at ten o'clock in
the forenoon.
The Cases will be heard in the order in
which they stand in the following List, and all
parties interested are hereby summoned to be
in attendance, with their documents and wit-
nesses.

Case No. 21. Pre-emption Certificate No. 20.
JAMES WILCOX, of Remuera, settler.
4 acres, Four acres, situated on the south
side of the road to the Tamaki, just after pass-
ing the wood at Remuera; the length of the
side fronting the road is 4½ chains, the boun-
daries are marked by stakes, and the lines are
cut through the fern.
Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chiefs Rewete, Hira, Keene, and
others.

Auckland, 24th February, 1847.
70a. Or. 6p., Seventy acres and six perches,
situated at Paupatire, near One Tree Hill,
Epsom; bounded on the north by land pur-
chased from the natives by Mr. Lundon; on
the south by land similarly purchased by Mr.
Henry; and east and west by land the pro-
perty of the natives.
Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chiefs Kawau, Hira, and William
White.

PHILIP KUNST, of Auckland, Printer.
3a. 3r. 37p., Three acres, three roods, and
thirty-seven perches, near Mount Hobson, on
the south side of the Tamaki road.
Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chief Wetere.
Consideration—£4 in cash and £4 in goods.

cording to the provisions of an Ordinance,
Session 7, No. 22, intituled "An Ordinance
to authorize Compensation in Colonial De-
bentures to be made to certain Claimants to
Land in the Colony of New Zealand," do
hereby notify that I will investigate the un-
der-mentioned Claims in the Council Chamber,
on Monday, the 15th day of March, 1847, at
ten o'clock in the forenoon.
