HENRY WALSH MAMON, ESQ., M. D.
a Surgeon in the Royal Navy, to be a Justice
of the Peace for the Territory of New Zea-
land,

HIS Excellency the Governor directs it to
be notified, that the new Charter will
be proclaimed, and that His Excellency will
take the Oaths of Office publicly in front of
Government House, on Saturday next, the 1st
instant, at two o'clock, prm.
All the Officers of Government and such of
the Colonists as can conveniently attend, are
requested to be present on this occasion.

NOTICE is hereby given, that a Cellar
built of Scoria, in Fort Street, the pro-
perty of Mr. W. S. Grahame, has been ap-
proved and appointed under the 34th Section
of the Customs Ordinance, 4 Vic. No. 3, for
the reception of Goods under Bond at this
Port.
