Case No. 31. Pre-emption Certificate, No. 68.
-JAMES BEVERIDGE, of Epsom, settler.
240 acres, Two hundred and forty acres,
situated at Manukau, the boundary as marked
is a stake at the north west point of the swamp
at the road which passes Deuchar's farm, runs
due south until about the middle of the course
of the creek, or outlet of the swamp, which is
crossed there and where there is a stake, then
to the mouth of the creek, keeping the same as
the boundary to the west, upon the north by a
government road which passes Deuchar's farm,
commencing at the above north west boundary
and going to a flax bush beyond where Deuc-
har's fence projects, upon the east from the said
flax bush, following a line of stakes until it
reaches the mouth of the said creek.
Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chief Moana.
Consideration-1 stallion, 20 blankets, horse
clothes, bridle, and stallion tackle.
from parties desirous of contracting for Shoe-
ing the Horses and Bullocks belonging to the
Colonial Government, for six Months, com-
mencing on the 1st July, 1847.
Parties desirous of Tendering, are requested
previous to preparing their Tender, to apply
at the office of the Superintendent of Public
Works, who will afford the necessary infor-
mation on the subject.
Tenders to be sealed and endorsed "Ten-
der for Shoeing Horses and Bullocks."

Case No. 32. Pre-emption Certificate, No. 222.
-JAMES BEVERIDGE, of Epsom, settler.
21 acres, 2 roods, Twenty-one acres, two
roods, situated at Manukau, being a portion
of the swamp Te Puo and the excess above
sixty acres, over which the right of Pre-emp-
tion has already been waived in Pre-emption
Certificate No. 38.
Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chief Moana.
Consideration-the same as under Pre-emp-
tion Certificate No. 38.

TENDERS for supplying the Colonial
Government, with such quantities as
may be required, of Wheaten Straw, Oaten
Straw, or cultivated Grass Hay, for six months
commencing 12th August, 1847, will be
received at this office, until noon, on Thursday
the 1st July.
The Hay or Straw to be delivered in such
quantities and at such places, as the Superin-
tendent of Roads may direct.

I, HENRY MATSON, a Commissioner ap-
pointed for examining and reporting on
all Claims to Land under the Proclamation of
the 26th March, 1844, do hereby give notice,
that I will investigate the under-mentioned
Claims, at the Council Chamber, on Monday,
the 5th day of July, 1847, at ten o'clock, in
the forenoon.
The cases will be heard in the order in
which they stand in the following List, and all
parties interested are hereby summoned to be
in attendance, with their documents and wit-
nesses.

native chief Moana.
Consideration-1 Stallion, 20 Blankets,
Horse Clothes, Bridle and Stallion Tackle.
NOTICE.
NOTICE is hereby given that a Brick
Cellar in Queen Street, the property of
Mr. J. I. Montefiore, has been approved and
appointed under the 34 Section, of the Cus-
toms' Ordinance, 4 Vic., No. 3, for the re-
ception of Goods under Bond at this Port.
