Case No. 3. Pre-emption Certificate No. 37.—
JAMES DILWORTH, of Auckland, gentleman,
12a. 0r. 14p., Twelve acres and fourteen
perches, at Remuera, lying between Mount
Hobson and Mount St. John, commencing at
the rear of Mr. Hayr's allotment, adjoining
Mr. Turner's, running thence behind Mr.
Moffitt's allotment running from that (taking in part of the base
of Mount Hobson) to Te Hira's boundary line,
thence along for about 320 yards, and from
that point to the commencing one.
Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chief E Kati.
Consideration—five pounds sterling.
Case No. 4. Pre-emption Certificate No. 46.—
JAMES DILWORTH, of Auckland, gentleman.
11 acres, Eleven acres, at Remuera, com-
mencing at Meurant's boundary on the Epsom
road, and bounded on the north by the lands
of Mr. Graham and Mr. Somerville; on the
east by land of James Dilworth; on the south
by Mr. Moffitt's land; and on the west by
the Epsom road.
Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chiefs Wetere and Aparahama, of
the Ngati tribe.
Consideration—seventeen pounds sterling.
Case No. 5. Pre-emption Certificate No. 13.
6 acres, Six acres, at Remuera, situated on
the west side of Mount St. John, and con-
taining a frontage of about 351 feet to the
Epsom road.
Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chief Wetere.
Consideration—ten pounds sterling.
Case No. 6. Pre-emption Certificate No. 179.

2a. 1r. 19p., Two acres, one rood, and
nineteen perches, situated on the west side
of Mount St. John, being an extension of the
quantity allowed in Pre-emption Certificate
No. 13.
Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chief Wetere.
Consideration—the same as under Pre-
emption Certificate No. 13.
Case No. 7. Pre-emption Certificate No. 199.
—HENRY HAYR, of Epsom, settler.
8½ acres, Eight and a half acres, situated
at the foot of Mount St. John.
Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chief Wetere.
Consideration—one double-barrelled gun,
single-barrelled pocket pistol and mahogany-
stocked double-barrelled gun, powder

—HENRY HAYR, of Epsom, settler.
3 acres, Three acres, situate on the great
swamp near Mount St. John; bounded on
the east by Dilworth's land, on the west by
Henry Hayr's former purchase, on the north
by land of George May, and on the south by
land of Joseph May.
Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chiefs Wetere and Apera.
Consideration—one pound sterling.

TENDERS will be received at this Office
on or before Monday, the 8th Feb-
ruary, from parties desirous of furnishing
the following Articles for the service of the
Government :—
One Anchor, iron stocked, about 4 cwt.,
Twelve fathoms of Chain,
One coil of 3¼ inch New Zealand water-
laid Rope.
Information respecting the terms of delivery
and payment may be obtained on application
at this Office.

Colonial Secretary's Office,

NOTICE is hereby given, that persons
desirous of securing the Government
Horses now astray in the District of
Kaipara and the Wau, and producing the
same to the Superintendent of Public Works
at Auckland, will receive a Reward of £5 for
each Horse.
