The Governor laid on the Table a portion
of the Returns moved for by Mr. Donnelly
on the 21st instant.
On motion of Mr. Kennedy, ordered that
said Returns be printed.
Mr. Kennedy moved, that Council do now
adjourn.
Council adjourned at past 5 o'clock, until
2 o'clock on Friday, 30th October, 1846.
FRIDAY, 30TH OCTOBER, 1846.
PRESENT:
The Governor and four Members. Absent,
Mr. Donnelly and Mr. Kennedy.
The Council met pursuant to adjournment.
The Minutes of the last Meeting were read
and confirmed.
The Attorney General moved the order of
the day for the second reading of the Crown
Grants' Bill. Bill read a second time, and on
motion of the Attorney General, Bill com-
mitted; amended, reported.
Mr. Domett moved the order of the day for
further consideration in Council of "Adminis-
tration of Justice Bill."
Bill considered, amended, and further con-
sideration postponed until Monday, 2nd Nov.
Mr. Domett moved, that Council do now
adjourn.
Council adjourned at 4 o'clock, until 2
o'clock on Monday, 2nd November.
