HIS Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor
directs it to be notified, that the fol-
lowing Bills amongst others are about to be
introduced for the consideration of the Coun-
cil.

1.- A Bill to amend the Customs' Ordinance
Sess. 1, No. 3, and the Customs' Amend-
ment Ordinance Sess. 3, No. 6.
2.- A Bill for establishing Standard Weights
and Measures, and for the prevention of
such as are false and deficient.
3.-A Bill to provide for the administration
of Justice in certain cases.

Colonial Secretary's Office,
Auckland, October 10th, 1846.

TENDERS will be received at this Office
until 12 o'clock on Wednesday, the 21st
October, 1846, from Parties desirous of con-
tracting for the erection of a General Hospital
in Auckland Park.
Plans and Specifications of the Works re-
quired to be performed can be seen on appli-
cation at the Office of the Surveyor General.
Tenders to be sealed, and endorsed, "Ten-
ders for the erection of a General Hospital in
Auckland Park."
