Zealand.

to be a Clerk in the Audit Office.
This appointment dates the 1st Feb., 1845.

Auckland, 18th January, 1845.
REFERRING to the Notice of the 6th June,
1844, relative to the delivery to Govern-
ment of Deeds or other Documents shewing
Title to Land to be exchanged for Land near
Auckland, the Governor directs it to be notified,
that all Deeds or other Documents shewing
Claim to Land purchased from the Natives,
which have been transferred to the Crown by
Exchange, must be delivered to Mr. Commis-
sioner Fitz Gerald, at the Land Office, who will
compare them with the copies formerly given to
the Land Commissioners, and cause them to be
duly registered.
Printed Certificates will be delivered at the
Land Office to parties depositing such Docu-
ments, without which no Deed, in respect of
Land acquired by Exchange, or Land Scrip,
will be issued from this Office.
