PROCLAMATION.

By His Excellency ROBERT FITZROY,
Esquire, Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice
Admiral of the same, &c., &c., &c.

THE GOVERNOR, do hereby advertise
and proclaim that, at Eleven o'clock,
on Wednesday, the 28th day of February, 1844,
the Colonial Treasurer will put up to Auction
at the Treasury, the undermentioned selected
and reserved Allotment, resumed by this Govern-
ment in compliance with instructions from Her
Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for the
Colonies, on the terms and conditions and under
the provisions of an Act of Parliament, passed
in the fifth and sixth years of the reign of Her
Majesty Queen Victoria, chap. 36, entituled
"An Act for regulating the Sale of Waste
"Lands belonging to the Crown in the Australian
"Colonies."
Deposit on the purchase-money, Ten pounds
per centum.
