H IS Excellency the Governor has directed
the publication of the following Letter,
as a Warning to Land Claimants.

ANDREW SINCLAIR,
Colonial Secretary.
SIR,-Referring to my letter of the 27th of
June, last, in which you were informed of the
deficiency reported by the Surveyor-General in
the land contained in Claim No. 250, as com-
pared with the award of the Land Commission-
ers; and were required to pay into the Colonial
Treasury, the difference between the actual
contents of that Claim, and the Land obtained
in exchange for the same—I am now commanded
by the Governor to apprise you that, no notice
having been taken by you of the above com-
munication, the Deed which has been prepared
for the Land obtained in virtue of the aforesaid
Claim, will be cancelled.
