MR. JAMES GILL
to be a Pilot for the Port of Auckland, under
the provisions of the Harbour Regulation's
Ordinance, Session II, No. 15.
This appointment dates from the 8th July,
1842.

NOTICE is hereby given, that Tenders will
be received at this Office, until Thursday,
the 16th day of March, next, from parties who
may be willing to enter into a Contract, to sup-
ply for the Colonial Service, during the year
commencing 1st April, 1843, the undermen-
tioned Provisions, in such quantities as may be
required:-
Biscuit, at per cwt.
Flour, per lb. and per cwt.
Fresh Pork at per lb.
Salt Pork, "
Salt Beef, "
Suet, "
Sugar, "
Tea, "
Maize Meal, "
Cotton Wick, "
Potatoes, "
Rice, "
Peas, per bushel,
Maize, per gallon,
Rum, "
Vinegar, "
Salt, per lb,
Soap, "
Oil Black, per Gallon.
Parties tendering will be required to name
two sureties for the due performance of the
Contract.
Further information may be obtained on ap-
plication at this Office.

COUNTY COURT.
NOTICE is hereby given, that a Sitting of
the County Court, for the dispatch of
Criminal business, will be holden at the Court
House, at Auckland, on Tuesday, the 21st inst.,
at ten o'clock in the forenoon, at which time
and place, all persons under recognizances to
appear, either as prosecutors, defendants, or
witnesses, are required to give their attendance.
The Court will be open for the dispatch of
Civil business on the following day.

ANNUAL LICENSING MEETING OF
JUSTICES.
A GENERAL Meeting of the Justices for
the Town and District of Auckland, will
be holden at the Police Office, Auckland, on
the first Tuesday in the month of April next,
for the Granting of Licenses for the sale of
Spirits, Wine, Ale, and Beer, for the Year to
commence on the first day of July following, in
accordance with the provisions of the Ordinance
V Vict., Session II, No. 12.

NOTICE.βDISSOLUTION OF PARTNER-
SHIP.
THE Partnership heretofore existing between
John Anderson Brown, Alexander Dal-
ziel and Walter Combes, carrying on busi-
ness under the firm of Dalziel and Co., has this
day been dissolved by mutual consent. The
Debts due to the late firm will be received, and
all claims on it must be given in to the said
Alexander Dalziel.
