in the year 1828.

four axes; 18 shoes, 12 spades, 15 iron pots, 24
blankets, 12 chissels, 12 plane irons, 12 pair of
scissors, 12 combs, 12 knives, 100 fish hooks.

Case No. 450, (b)-Rev. JOHN KING, of Te-
puna, Bay of Islands, on behalf of the Church
Missionary Society, claimant.
80 acres more or less, known by the name of
Waikapu, joining Tepuna, at the back, bounded
by the second purchase on one side, and on the
other by a hill and a creek.

Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chiefs Warepoaka, Munuhiri, Wai-
kato, and Kiripero, by claimant in the
year 1832.

Consideration given to the natives-Twenty
one axes, 21 hoes, 15 adzes, 10 spades, 16 iron
pots, 26 blankets, 12 chissels, 12 plane irons,
12 combs, 24 pair scissors, 100 fish hooks, 5lb
tobacco, 12 dollars.

Nature of conveyance-not stated.

Case No. 451. BENJAMIN COULSON of Sydney
and JOHN JAMES COOMBS, Master-mariner,
claimants.

40,000 acres more or less situate in Queen
Charlotte's Sound, forming a Bay called Wai
Kooa, the north point bearing from the creek in
the centre of the Bay north 10° east by com-
pass; the east point bearing north 30° east,
and forming the extreme of the south arm of the
north entrance to Queen Charlotte's Sound, to-
gether with the Bay, adjoining the above na-
med Bay, called Waitoa; it is bounded on the
north-west by a range of hills, which divides it
from Kai-pupa, and on the east by a range of
hills, separating it from Wai Kooa, on the south
by the mountains.

Alleged to have been purchased from the na-
tive Chiefs Ah Ra, (commonly called Ah-
Walker) and Wai-Rema, by James Wil-
liams of Cloudy Bay, who sold to claimants.

Consideration given to the natives-A large
quantity of merchandize, and £100 sterling.

Nature of conveyance-A deed of Feoffment,
and Will in favor of James Williams, dated 1st
January 1840:

Police, will be disposed of by private Contract.

the 31st day of December next. from parties
who may be desirous to rent for the term of
three years, the buildings situate at Russell, Bay
of Islands, consisting of the building used as a
Government Store, a Dwelling House and
Blacksmiths Shop,

Further information may be obtained on an
application to this Office.

be in attendance on Monday, the 12th
December, to point out the boundaries of the
Tamaki Farms, sold on the 24th instant; and
if persons interested neglect attending on the
day above stated, any application from them on
the subject of their boundaries will not be at-
tended to.

the Government with Ironmongery, Nails,
&c., of every description, for the year 1843
commencing 1st January, are requested to send
to the Colonial Storekeeper before the 24th of

annexed, for which they may wish to tender.
