Hokianga, bounded on the north-east by the
Hokianga, and extending along the river from a
point called Te Mata, to a rocky point called Te
Maire, and inland from these two points at right
angies with the frontage for the distance of 2
miles.
Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chiefs Ngatuma, Warekaou, and
others, by J. Hobbs, and J. Stark, in
1820.

Pakanae, about four miles from the heads of the

a canal for boats to a hill bearing south, in a
direct line to a cluster of Raraka trees; the
southern boundary commencing at a marked
spot at the side of the river, and proceeding by
a marked line to a tree, it then intersects the
inland boundary.

Whitely, in 1836..

forest land and extending due west for two miles
from the heads of the above-named creeks.

west by a small stream called Ohopa, the back
line running along the ridge of the hills to the
above-named tree.
Alleged to have been purchased by claimant
the 16th September, 1839, from the native
chiefs Huhu, and others.
