on behalf of Black, Green and Co., in the
year 1839.

claimant.
5000, Five thousand acres more or less, situate
on the river Kawa Kawa, and known as Te Toke
Onoui, Te Tewaunui, Te Tinponga Wero Wero,
Te Hiringa, Te Wakatete, Parinaenga, Te Ware-
tatetoe, Te Tatuahupara, Maukuku, Pahohekohe,
Te Arataraere, Te Kahika, Te Angiugi, Pukeatua,
Te Kahika, Roriwero, Te Nge, Petui, Wariunga,
Tarakatikaki, Rotukutuku, Te Ngako, Mai Mim-
iha, Perehawai, Waihaehae, Ware, Watukoha-
kaha, Te Kouri.
Alleged to have been purchased from the native
chiefs, Hara, Tawakatere, and Warekauri,
through Hara, as agent, by claimant.

Case No. 383. WILLIAM MATHEW, of Wahapu,
Bay of Islands, claimant.
A piece of land, contents not stated, situate on
the west side of Wangaroa Bay, on the south-
east end of Bank's Peninsula, commencing at a
certain hill at the north end of the Bay called the
Old Pah, thence running west into the highest
range of mountains, then south-easterly by the
ridge of the said mountains to the sea, and thence
by the shore to the aforesaid Pah.
Alleged to have been purchased by present
claimant from the native chiefs, Amana,
(English Tommy) and Gracia his wife,
Teacoro (English John) and Mary his wife,
on the 2nd day of May, 1839..

money, and a quantity of merchandise, value not

bounds the land to Warikohu.
